Penguin Diner Waddles Onto Garfield Parkway

Bethany Beach, DE (PRWEB) May 23, 2007 -- Neighbors and tourists alike have a new place at the beach to enjoy with the grand opening of the Penguin Diner in Bethany Beach, Delaware. Entrepreneur Mark Neumann and fellow Baltimore Gilman School graduate, restauranteur Alex White, have teamed up to open the Penguin Diner. The Grand opening is scheduled for Memorial Day weekend

White and a partnerpurchased the Bethany Beach Diner on the main Garfield Parkway strip, over the winter, doubled its size and have added full liquor service. "Bethany has a shortage of food establishments." states White, "We created a place that has good, quality food in a fun, relaxed environment. And since this is Bethany, it is of course family friendly while also being a place adults will enjoy."

Specializes in wraps, sandwiches and breakfast foods, the Penguin Diner is the perfect spot for families with kids and for adults who want to unwind and catch -up on some sports in front of the 50 "flat screen plasma TV over the bar. The Penguin Diner is open year round and in season will be open daily from 7 am until approximately 10 pm. Admitted crab-cake snobs Neumann and White serve an old family recipe to create what is undoubtedly the best crab cake on the Eastern Shore. Children's menus are available including thick milkshakes and special ice cream creations. Menu items are moderately priced from $7-$19 per entrée. In keeping with the "cool" penguin theme, there is also a "Penguin Store" stocked with merchandise of the waddling bird.
