Dickinson, Texas Mexican Restaurant Featured on Chron.com
Dickinson, TX (PREWEB) June 15, 2008 -- My Amigos Mexican Grill has brought bit of spice to the town of Dickinson, Texas. The restaurant was recently the subject of a food review written Houston "foodie" reporter, Alison Cook. The restaurant used to be located in Houston, and according to Cook, that particular restaurant was well-liked by reviewers. Cook's review points out strengths, as well as weaknesses, and areas that could use some improvement.
The restaurant review goes on to talk about the restaurant's food in great detail. According to Cook, some culinary highlights include the beef fajita nachos, which Cook described as, "? on my short list of Greater Houston's best -- no small achievement ?" Cook enjoyed the taste of some of the shrimp dishes. The Houston restaurant reviewer was also pleased with the botanas, or Mexican appetizers.
However, Cook felt that their were other various aspects of the items that might need some improvement, like the salsa, the grilled beef fajitas, the margaritas, the pork enchiladas and the service, to name a few. However, Cook remains positive about the future of the restaurant.
"Once the staff is better trained and the kitchen get its act together -- a very real possibility -- My Amigos could end up being a mainstay in the Dickinson area, and a welcome way station for Houstonians in transit to the Bay Area or Galveston," said Cook.
